The sweater is knitted with a single strand of mohair, which gives a light, airy quality with a beautiful halo and a soft drape. Leftovers from Garnspesialisten work well here too.
Needles
- Circular needle 7 mm (40 and 80 cm)
- 5 stitch markers
- Scissors

Gauge
12 stitches × 17 rounds = 10 × 10 cm on 7 mm needles.
Construction
Arctic Snow is knitted from the bottom up. Body and sleeves are knitted separately before being joined. The eyelet pattern is worked on the upper part of the body, while the high neck and the feminine puff sleeves complete the classic look.
Along the way you learn a flexible cast on, how to use stitch markers, how to join sleeves and body, the eyelet pattern and a neat cast off.
Cosy Cue: block the sweater lightly after washing to open up the eyelet pattern and bring out the airy mohair texture. The high neck can be worn up or folded softly down for a more relaxed look.
