The story behind the design
Bloom – The Dress is inspired by flowers opening towards the light. The close-fitting bodice gives balance, while the wide skirt creates a feeling of freedom and movement – a dress that grows just as naturally as a flower in the sun.

The Bloom Collection is CosyMonday's tribute to flowers, light and feminine silhouettes. The collection combines modern Scandinavian design with airy yarn qualities, soft shapes and craft that lasts season after season. Bloom – The Dress is the collection's signature dress.

Look out for good leftover yarn at Garnspesialisten, who collect surplus yarn from the fashion industry.
The airy mohair gives the dress a soft, light and floating look with beautiful movement.

Gauge
10 stitches = 10 × 10 cm.
Construction
Bloom – The Dress is knitted top-down. The bodice is worked in half brioche, which gives a stretchy, close-fitting shape. From there the work is increased gradually so the skirt gets a light, natural volume. The dress finishes with an elegant i-cord edge that gives a clean, polished look.
