Always Lovable Collection
The Always Lovable Collection is CosyMonday's tribute to slow fashion, creativity and good craft. The collection was developed to give new life to leftover yarn, surplus yarn and exclusive materials that deserve a new story.

Yarn & equipment
Base yarn
Bella by Permin and Mini Alpakka from Sandnes Garn.
Approx. 12 (13) 15 (16) 17 balls of 50 g, depending on the size.
For the dots
Use leftover yarn in different qualities such as mohair, wool, cotton, alpaca, metallic or gold thread. The mix of textures and colours makes every skirt unique.
You can also put together your own yarn pack from Garnspesialisten, who sell surplus yarn from the fashion industry – perfect for the Always Lovable Collection.
Needles
- 6 mm circular needle (40 cm, 80 cm and 100–120 cm)
- 4 mm needle for casting on
- 3 mm double-pointed needles for the I-cord belt
Construction
O – The Skirt is knitted top-down. First you knit a double waistband with a channel for the I-cord belt. Then the skirt is built up from six panels that gradually widen. Garter details, organic colour shifts and hand-knitted dots create a flowing silhouette with beautiful movement.
The construction makes it easy to adjust both the length and the look as you go.
About the pattern
The pattern was written to make leftover-yarn knitting inspiring, clear and fun. You get clear explanations, flexible yarn suggestions and plenty of freedom to put your own stamp on the design.
No two skirts turn out the same – and that is part of the idea.
