Bloom Striped – The Dress
Bloom Collection · Level: Beginner plus
Part of the Bloom Collection – my tribute to blossom, light and long summer days. Bloom Striped is a feminine summer dress with a close-fitting bodice, airy mohair and a colourful skirt inspired by meadows in flower and the playful colour joy of the 1970s. Finished with a hand-crocheted edge.
Colourful. Feminine. Full of life.

Construction
Bloom Striped – The Dress is knitted top-down. The bodice is worked in half brioche, which gives a stretchy, close-fitting shape. The skirt is increased gradually and knitted in wide colour stripes that create volume and movement. Finally you crochet a decorative edge that gives the dress a personal, handmade touch.

Design philosophy
Bloom Striped – The Dress is inspired by meadows in flower, summer light and the free colour joy of the 1970s. The close-fitting bodice is balanced by a light, floating skirt that moves naturally, while the hand-crocheted edge adds a personal touch that makes every dress a little unique.
