The mistletoe hangs over the door and pretends it doesn't mean anything.
Mistletoe is the simplest of my Christmas sweaters, and that is on purpose. No pattern to count. No decreases to keep track of in the middle of a conversation. Just the puff sleeves, and they almost make themselves.
I made it because I get the same question every autumn: can I finish a sweater before Christmas? The answer depends on which sweater. This one you can.
It is knitted on needle 7, and it is marked Beginner. That means if you can knit and purl, you can do this one. Everything else is explained as you go.
And when it is finished, it isn't a Christmas sweater you put away in January. It is just a sweater — one that happened to be made in December.
