Gauge
Gauge is not critical to the result. What matters is that you get a soft, airy look. Use a different needle size if you knit very loosely or very tightly.

About the pattern
Along the way you will learn a flexible cast on, knit stitches, purl stitches, a simple eyelet pattern, joining and weaving in ends, and casting off stitches.

Tip from the designer: Don't be afraid to knit a little loosely. The mohair settles nicely after light steaming, and the scarf gets a soft drape and a beautiful halo.
