Knitted with 1 strand of each quality. Leftovers from Garnspesialisten work well here too.
Needles
Circular needle 7 mm (40 cm)
Double-pointed needles 7 mm or Magic Loop
Gauge
12 stitches × 17 rounds = 10 × 10 cm
If you knit loosely, go down to a 6 mm needle. If you knit tightly, go up to an 8 mm needle. I recommend knitting a gauge swatch before you start.
Construction
My Favorite Beanie is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The wide ribbing runs into decorative mock cables that give the hat a classic look with beautiful texture. The top is shaped with even decreases for a neat finish.
