I don't take photos of the TV screen every day. But when Linn Skåber turned up in Null stjerner wearing Rose, I did.
Rose in Germany
In the episode from Germany, Linn Skåber travels with Cecilie Steinmann. Under the camel-coloured coat, Linn is wearing Rose. The high neck sits over the coat collar, and the wide sleeves show at the wrist.
Rose is Linn Skåber's own sweater.
Rose – The Sweater is knitted in Ballerina Chunky Mohair from Sandnes Garn, with a single strand on 7 mm needles. It has a lace pattern in the yoke, puff sleeves and buttons on the cuffs. The body and sleeves are knitted separately from the bottom up and joined with raglan decreases.
Alba in Malta
In the episode from Malta, Ine Jansen wears Alba – The Beanie.
Alba is a white hat in double-stranded mohair. It has a deep folded ribbing brim and mock cables up towards the crown. Alba means dawn, and the hat belongs to A Head Full of Dreams, my hat series.
Knit them yourself
Both patterns are at the Beginner plus level. Rose comes in five sizes, from XS to XL. Alba is knitted in the round on a 7 mm circular needle.
Rose teaches you lace, puff sleeves and raglan, and Alba teaches you mock cables. The techniques are explained in Knittipedia.
If you knit one of them, I'd love to see it. Use #rosethesweater or #albabeanie, and #cosymonday.
Null stjerner is on HBO Max.
