Half brioche
A ribbed fabric where every other stitch is knitted together with a yarn over from the round before. It gives air, depth and stretch, and uses more yarn than stocking stitch.
Eyelets
Yarn overs and decreases that make small, even holes. The basic technique behind all my lace patterns.
